Maya Kanwal is a Pakistani-American writer and lover of lizards, cacti, theater and morbid illustrations. She is an absconded mathematician and adores creating zines. She shamelessly owns five copies of Alice in Wonderland.
Maya’s day job is Chief Content Officer and Editor at FlashRead, an app for text stories featuring work by writers she admires, in genres including Fantasy, Sci-Fi, Horror, Thrillers & Romance. She moonlights there as an occasional writer as well.
Maya is a co-founder of Fuente Collective, offering generative workshops and readings focused on creativity for writers and other artists.
Her current main writing project is a YA novel under intense revision. Stay tuned for more on that!
